The Early Years of Westmoreland
Inspired by stories his grandfather told of early days in Westmoreland, Mike Zabel has continued to research the history of the community and compiled the information in this book. Included are maps and drawings outlining land ownership and information about businesses, churches, and schools of those early years. The story of the railroad that served the town for a few years is also included, as well as pictures and information about early settlers and their impact on the early development of the town and community.
